    Description

    Fantastic hand carved "Red Beard" kachina by Hopi carver Burton Allison.  The piece stands 14 1/2 inches tall with the base and to the top of the feather, and is in beautiful condition.
    Burton of Polacca, AZ was born into the Coyote and Fire Clan and is the son of Robert Allison. He's referenced in Schaaf's "Hopi Katsina 1600 Artist Biographies".
